Introducing Never Nude: My piCture pOlish Collaboration Shade
Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be finally writing this post. You may or may not recall, but last year after piCture pOlish's blog fest I was chosen by my peers, the other bloggers participating, to win one of three awards. The prize - the opportunity to design a collaboration shade with the ladies at piCture pOlish - a dream come true for any polish blogger! Now, after 14 months, and three rounds of testing, I'm so happy to introduce my "baby"... Never Nude!

piCture pOlish Blog/Insta Fest 2014
Hi everyone! I'm happy to be participating again in piCture pOlish blog fest, this is my second year! Last year I came up with one of my best designs of the year, and it was an amazing experience finding new bloggers from around the globe. This year it's different for two reasons: one, Instagram nail artists are now included, and two, piCture pOlish is teaming up with Nail Vinyls. They're going to be offering a special four-pack Nail Vinyls set, so we all got the opportunity to use them this year.

Four Weeks of piCture pOlish: Week Two: A Whimsical Skittlette
Hi everyone! Another week, another gorgeous piCture pOlish shade to share with you. When I was asked by the ladies at piCture pOlish if there was any polish in particular that I wanted to review, Whimsy was my choice - and do you blame me!? This collaboration shade with Neverland Nail Blog is so stunning that I had to show you swatches and some simple nail art, so make sure to check out the full post!

piCture pOlish Cosmos: Swatches and Review
Hi everyone! I posted a sneak peak of piCture pOlish Cosmos when I showed you my glow-in-the-dark star mani. So today I have proper swatches of this special polish. I was originally going to post the swatches as an addendum to my star mani, but then I changed my mind - this polish is so awesome it deserves its own blog post!
Cosmos is part of the piCture pOlish Collaboration Series, where they collaborate with bloggers and distributors. This is the second collaboration with Pshiiit Boutique, the first one is called (appropriately) Pshiiit. I love all the collaboration shades. I've probably told you before, but my goal is to try and get my hands on as many of them as I possibly can. Slowly but surely I'm working on that! :D
Cosmos is a jelly-based intense deep blue polish. The colour leans very slightly towards green, and if you know your pigments, I'd say it looks like a phthalo blue. It's scattered with tiny irregular shaped particles - micro-flakes - that have a beautiful shimmer. It also has a scattered holo effect, although I did not find that it was particularly strong. But it's still visible in some lights. Most of the time you see a shimmery vibrant blue.
The formula was pretty good, I used three coats here, but you could get away with two. You will want to wait a few minutes between coats, otherwise you might pull up the polish from the previous coat and end up with bald spots. And nobody likes bald spots. There was minimal staining after I removed it, but nothing major. Overall, the application and wear was very good.
Since Cosmos came out, piCture pOlish has done a few more collaboration shades that have a similar jelly base with shimmer. I'm really loving what they have been doing lately, and I can't wait to get my hands on all the newer shades (I have Hope but there's a few more!).
piCture pOlish is available on their website, there you will also find a list of their distributors.
What do you think of Cosmos? Do you have any piCture pOlish?

piCture pOlish Amethyst
Hi everyone! One thing I don't think I've shared on this blog is my love for the piCture pOlish collaboration series. If you're not familiar with piCture pOlish, it's a brand based in Australia, and they've done collaborations with bloggers and distributors (i.e. Harlow & Co., Llarowe). I find the polishes in the collaboration series to be so interesting and unique, and since each one is designed by a different person, each polish has it's own character. I've made it my mission to acquire every polish in the series, and I'm maybe about 1/2 or 1/3 of the way there. Now if only they would stop releasing new polishes, I could catch up! ;)
Amethyst was designed in collaboration with Susan from Star Trinkets, she also blogs at The Subtle Shimmer. Amethyst is a mid value purple, warm in tone, somewhat related to the colour of the amethyst stone but far more vibrant. It has silver flakes along with a blue and pink shimmer. The colour just radiates and would look good on a variety of skin tones.
The application was effortless and this was two easy coats. I had no issues whatsoever with the formula. I love polishes like that!
Amethyst is a limited edition polish, so it is becoming increasingly harder to find. It's not even carried by Star Trinkets anymore. It is available directly from piCture pOlish, and I just saw it's in stock on Llarowe (after not being available for awhile), and Nail Polish Canada (where I bought it from - Canada and US only).
