Hi everyone! As promised I have the second half of the Nicole by OPI Gumdrops collection - a collection of eight shimmery texture polishes. Make sure you check out
part one if you missed it. As I explained in my previous post, my local drugstore display had eight polishes, however, the reviews I've seen so far show only six polishes. I'm assuming that the blogger packages sent out didn't contain the entire collection. So I have two polishes today that you probably haven't seen before - unless you've already found them in stores.

The formula and application for these is the exact same as the previous four polishes I reviewed. For all four that I'm showing here, I used a base coat, two coats of polish, and no top coat, as per the instructions that came with the polish. I found the application to be great, they go on very evenly and dry to a fine texture. The dry time is good - I wish it was a bit faster, but it is not too bad.
I Lilac Gumdrops is a lavender texture with silver shimmer. I really love the shimmer because it looks like tiny micro-flakes. The colour is also very pretty as well.

Like in my previous post, the first two pictures are taken in my lightbox, and the third picture is taken under direct light.

Lemon Lolly is aptly name - it's a lemon yellow shimmery texture. It has a squishy jelly-like finish similar to Candy is Dandy. There's a bit of visible nail line but it is not too noticeable in person. It's not the most flattering colour on me, but if you like yellow you will enjoy this one.

My Cherry Amour is a berry red jelly. It has a scattered holo that is visible in the bottle but not as noticeable on the nails. Like Lemon Lolly and Candy is Dandy it has kind of a wet look, which I'm not sure how I feel about. I really love the colour on this one though, and it does have a nice shimmer, I just wish you got to see more of the scattered holo.

That's What I Mint is an odd name for a polish that is not mint coloured. It's a vivid teal blue with gold and blue shimmer. It has a somewhat metallic finish and it is very shimmery and glittery, much like Cinna-Man of My Dreams. Both polishes are very similar in terms of finish and shimmer, both also have the same depth in terms of colour.

Overall, I really like this collection. The texture is nice and I like how there is some variation in terms of finish and shimmer. I would have to say my favourites are Cinna-Man of My Dreams and That's What I Mint. The shimmer and finish on these two is just gorgeous! My Cherry Amour is a close runner up!
What do you think of these? Do you plan on getting anything from this collection?
Edit: According to a public relations representative from Nicole by OPI, Lemon Lolly and That's What I Mint are exclusive to Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada and are not available in the US. However, some readers have noted that That's What I Mint is available on CVS.com.
