The Digit-al Dozen Does Nature, Day Four: Peas and Carrots

Hi everyone! Today I have a very cute and simple design that hopefully will leave you craving for veggies! I decided to interpret the nature theme for this week rather loosely, and since veggies are plants, I couldn't resist.

About this design:

I was inspired by the nail art of @cottonconey on IG, but also designs I've done previously like my sushi and my salt and pepper shakers. I came across a ridiculously cute pattern of some peas and carrots while searching google images, but I decided to change it to make it more my style.

To get this look:

I started with a base of OPI My Vampire is Buff and painted the peas and carrots freehand with acrylic paint. I used a really basic palette of black, white, red, yellow and sap green. Also, I used my Glamor 1 detail brush from Stylish Nail Art on Etsy. And to top it off I used Girly Bits What a Rush and Cult Nails Wax That.

Final thoughts:

I am hoping the Digit-al Dozen will do a food week sometime soon, because I would be totally into that. In the meantime I'll have to sneak my food-themed manis into other challenges. ;) I also really enjoyed this look because it reminds me of Forrest Gump, and before I start tearing up I'll just leave it at that!
