The Latest From Renaissance Cosmetics: The Sweet & Sassy Duo

Hi everyone! Work has been keeping me busy and exhausted lately, so I'm just getting around to posting these new polishes I released in my shop last week. I've been loving the new multichrome flakies that became available recently. Because so many brands have released flakie toppers of just flakes in base, I've been experimenting with other ways to use them. These two polishes are the result of some of those experiments.

Sweet & Sassy Duo

The polishes:

The Sweet & Sassy Duo consists of two shimmery glitter toppers with multichrome flakie accents. I wanted to make something that would be perfect for Valentine's Day but could also be worn year round.

Sugar and Spice is the "sweet" polish of the duo. It has satin white and rose holo glitter in different sizes (mostly hex shape, but some small squares), some light gold micro flakes, and rose/gold multichrome flakes. My swatches show one coat over Essie Shearling Darling, and nail wheel swatches show one coat over a few different bases.

Sassy With a Vengeance is obviously the "sassy" of the duo. It has black and fuchsia holo glitter with the same rose/gold multichrome flakes. These swatches show one coat over China Glaze Five Rules, and the nail wheel swatches show one coat over a variety of bases.

The multichrome flakes are more subtle than most of the toppers that have been coming out, but they are more apparent in the sun or under direct light. I've been really into glitter toppers lately, so these were very fun to do.

Availability:

Like I said, these were released last week, and a lot have already sold. I will probably do a restock next week if there is enough interest. Polishes are $10 each, and next time they restock, there will be a limited number of duos for $18. They are available at Renaissance Cosmetics.

What do you think of these? Are you enjoying the multichrome flakie trend or are you sick of seeing these polishes?
