Salt and pepper nail art |
The themes this week revolve around the idea of "twos." Today it's things that come in pairs. For some reason I instantly thought of salt and pepper shakers. I don't know why, but I decided to run with it.

About this design:
I wanted my salt and pepper shakers to be slightly painterly - they have some indications of shadows (you can see on the chrome). But they are not highly realistic.

Final Thoughts:
I really love how these turned out. They have a fun vibe, and when I finished them I had to show a sneak peak on my Instagram. I don't always do that but every now and then I just can't wait to show something. The only disappointment was the Wicked Fast for the top coat. It ended up smearing my design slightly, even after waiting 20+ minutes. It's good for swatches but perhaps not for nail art.
What do you think of this?
