I'm reviewing two shades from the Late Summer collection, and two from the Autumn collection. The Autumn collection is available starting today (September 1st) at noon.
Buckingham Palace is from the Late Summer Collection. It's a purple with a subtle pink/blue shimmer. It's a nice purple, not too cool, not too warm.

I found this one to be a bit sheer, and I needed 3 coats for full coverage. You might have some visible nail line if your nails are longer. Otherwise, the formula was great and it went on very smooth.

Festival Season is another one from the Late Summer collection. This is a bright Barbie pink with a cool shimmer. My photos are not 100% accurate - the colour is deeper and more berry in colour than I'm showing here. It's just one of those polishes that's impossible to capture accurately, even with some colour adjusting. The colour is very similar to China Glaze Limbo Bimbo, but a tad more red toned.

The formula on this was okay, but not as good as the others. The coverage is sheer and the polish tended to flood my cuticles. I used 3 coats, and there's still some visible nail line. It's a nice colour though.

Omnishambles is part of the regular line - I won this in a giveaway a few months ago, and enjoyed it so much I wanted to review it. It's a multi-coloured glitter topper in a clear base. It has a mix of metallic glitter in hexes and squares of different sizes - mostly small and medium. I really like rainbow mixes of glitter, and this one is really fun.

I swatched 1 coat over School Uniform. Formula was excellent and there's good glitter payoff.

Piccadilly Circus is from the new Autumn collection. This is a black with a very fine scattered holo. The finish has a bit of a sheen which makes it really interesting. I really love the uniqueness of this, and the subtle effect of the shimmer makes it work.

The formula was excellent and it goes on even and smooth. This was 2 coats.

School Uniform is from the new Autumn collection. It's a deep midnight blue with a blue shimmer. It reminds me of Essie Midnight Cami, but it's lighter in colour.

This is a gorgeous creme, and the coverage is really good - perfect for nail art. Formula wise, it goes on really even and smooth. I used 2 coats.

Final Thoughts:
The formula on these range from good to excellent. I wish Festival Season had better coverage, but the others were really good. Considering that this is a new indie brand, Fiona is doing a great job. However, some of the colours are less unique, so I'd like to see her push things even more. My picks: School Uniform, Piccadilly Circus, and Omnishambles. Piccadilly Circle is the one that stands out as the most unique.

Some really nice colors from this Canadian indie brand. Its always great to know more so thanks for sharing swatches of these polishes. I really like that glitter, Omnishambles.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lisa! I like to show new (and new-ish) indies when they are good quality. Omnishambles is a good one, I picked that one out myself. :D
DeleteTha black is really amazing *-* love it!
ReplyDeleteIt really is - subtle but so beautiful. I'll be using it again.
DeleteGreat swatches. I really like that black one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kelli! I agree, the black one is great, I don't know if I captured it the best, but it's really nice.
DeleteLoving the glitter topper and Piccadilly Circus. Gorgeous swatches as always!
ReplyDeleteI am not really into indies but these are stunning - they almost look like a mainstream brand (in a good way). Great review with stunning pictures as ever :)
ReplyDeletePicadilly Circus looks fab!
