The Digit-al Dozen Does Texture, Day Two: JulieG Dotticure

Hi everyone! I am excited about today's design. Yesterday I posted a more subdued look with Zoya's Pixie Dusts. Today I'm turning to another texture polish collection in my stash - the Jesse's Girl JulieG Frosted Gum Drops collection. I was able to get my hands on these thanks to my friend Joy, and can you believe I have yet to use them?!

JulieG Dotticure

This design used all six polishes from that collection. I love how fun and bright this looks.

To get this look: On my pinky and ring nails I used JulieG Crushed Candy and Blueberry Fizz. On my other nails I started with a base of OPI My Vampire is Buff, then dabbed Joe Fresh Opal in spots. I then did dots using the entire Frosted Gum Drops collection - Crushed Candy, Blueberry Fizz, Rock Candy, Sugar Rush, Hot Cinnamon, Tangerine Dream.

Even though I only used the texture polishes on two nails, I was really impressed with the formula - goes on smooth, dries fast, and has a beautiful finish.

What do you think of this? Have you tried this collection?

    1. Thank you Lisa - the Frosted Gum Drops polishes have a sort of jewel effect when you use them to make dots, probably because of the glitter and sparkle.
