GOT Polish Challenge, Coral: Simple Spring Nails With Dior Spring Ball

Hi everyone! At first I wasn't sure if I could participate in today's Golden Oldies Challenge. I couldn't recall if I owned any corals that fit the requirements (close to a year old, already tried). But a simple "find" search in the good ol' stash spreadsheet revealed that I had at least 10 that fit the bill. Oops!

I ended up settling on Dior Spring Ball, and I knew that I wanted to do something that was simple and classy. I really love how this turned out, and it has a very feminine, springtime feel to it.

Spring Ball is from the Sparkling Shine collection from last year, you can find my swatches here. These four polishes are probably my favourite Dior polishes ever, and Spring Ball is a stand out from this group. It's a beautiful light coral-peach that has a slight pink tone to it. It also has a beautiful iridescent shimmer.

Application for Spring Ball is perfect with three coats, however, as I noted in my initial review, I dislike the brushes on these.

To get this look: On my pinky, index and thumb, I used three coats of Dior Spring Ball. On my ring and middle nails I started with a base of OPI My Vampire is Buff, followed by Spring Ball dabbed on with a piece of saran wrap. The studs are from the Nailasaurus Emporium. The final mani was sealed with KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Like I said, a simple look, but I'm very fond of how this turned out.

What do you think?
