The Nail Bites: Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls

Hi everyone! This title is a bit of a groaner, but I couldn't resist. The "waterfall" I'm referring to is The Nailasaurus' waterfall design. I've tried it several times, and with the exception of one instance, I'm always unhappy with the results. My mani doesn't look like confident strokes but rather slightly squiggly snakes. Oh well, I tried.

I was also hoping to do some nail art that would compliment Rainbow Honey's Magic Cake. But that didn't happen. I should have picked something more complimentary, instead I was distracted by the China Glaze City Flourish collection at my workstation. However, my not-so-successes make my successes sweeter so I'm posting this.

To get this look:

  • Base: China Glaze At Vase Value
  • Waterfall: China Glaze Lotus Begin, Don't Honk Your Thorn, What a Pansy, Strike a Rose
  • Glitter: Rainbow Honey Magic Cake (my review)

In case you don't get the title reference I'll leave you with some TLC. Remember, stick to the rivers and lakes that you're used to!

Thanks for reading!
