WingDust Collections: Bean Me!, Honest Puck, Somewhere Out There

Hi everyone! First I wanted to thank those of you who took the time to give me some feedback on my last post. I really appreciate that!

Tonight I have three gorgeous polishes from WingDust Collections. If they look familiar it's because they were included in my one year blog anniversary giveaway. I hope that whomever receives these enjoys them as much as I do.

WingDust Collections (l-r): Somewhere Out There, Honest Puck, Bean Me!

It's no surprise that I love this brand. One of the things I love is the fact that Stephanie definitely has her own style when it comes to making polishes. That's not to say that they all look the same, rather they just have a certain touch. I also find it interesting that she's not too hung up on seasonal collections. It's just one gorgeous polish after the other, regardless of the occasion. :)

Formula-wise all three were the same - they are jelly formulas with glitters. I did find that I needed a few drops of thinner to make the application smoother, but not everyone will feel the same. Otherwise they go on really well, and they have good proportions of glitter and pigment. I used three coats for all three polishes.

Bean Me! is the non-holo version of Bean Me Up! (my review). It's a dark brown jelly with a mix of gold, copper, and teal hexes and circles. I can't really decide which one I like better - the holo gives it an added kick, while the brown base is more vivid without the added holo pigment. Which one do you prefer?

Honest Puck is a slightly muted kelly green jelly with a mix of gold and gold holo hex glitter in different sizes. There's also a subtle green shimmer which I find very pleasing. This is not the kind of colour I usually gravitate towards, but I think it's very unique.

Somewhere Out There is a deep plum jelly with gold shimmer and gold, silver, and fuchsia hexes, circles, bars, stars and moons. It's very dreamy, mysterious, and beautiful - to me this looks like a classic WingDust polish!

If you like jellies with glitters you'll enjoy these. All three are great and unique, but my favourite - if I had to pick - would be Somewhere Out There.

Tell me - what do you think of these? Which one is your favourite?

  2. I love Wingdust! :) My favorite is Somewhere Out There :D I've got it in my stash, but haven't tried it yet :) I like the Bean Me without the holo better, I actually think it's really beautiful. Normally I don't like brown polish :)

  4. I like them all but would have to say that Somewhere Out There is my favorite! Bean Me looks richer than Bean Me Up so I'll have to agree with Naildith that it looks better :)

  5. Oh I love all 3 of them! I like Bean Me (without the holo)....with the holo distracts me from that gorgeous brown. There's just something about jellies....Thanks for putting these on my radar!
