SoFlaJo My Sign's Aqua-rium

Hi everyone! Tonight I have another great indie polish from SoFlaJo and some pretty snazzy nail art to match. This is the fourth and final SoFlaJo polish I was sent (see the previous ones here) and I've been so pleased with them. All four have been so beautiful, I'm actually kind of sad that I don't have any more to show you. It's also been fun coming up with designs for each one. Taking a polish as my starting point for nail art makes me think outside the box.

My Sign's Aqua-rium is a beautiful shimmery turquoise blue with teal microglitter and a subtle scattered holo. I absolutely love the colour and it's one that I'll definitely be wearing again. I'm a sucker for blue shades with gorgeous shimmers.

Application was very good, and so I have no issues to report. I forget how many coats I used, but you'll get full coverage in 2-3 coats.

To get this look: Don't ask me why I combined leopard print and stained glass - at the time it seemed like a good idea! I remember, I had a bunch of colours on my desk that I thought would go together, and I'm glad, because I really love how this turned out.

Stained glass and leopard print

I started with a base of OPI My Vampire is Buff on all nails except my thumb and pinky. There I started with SoFlaJo My Sign's Aqua-rium. For the stained glass and the leopard print I used Zoya Brigitte, Orly Luxe, My Sign's Aqua-rium, and black polish. On my ring finger I also did a subtle gradient, I didn't write down the polish but I believe it was SoFlaJo Pink If You Love Me.

Stained glass and leopard print

Overall: I know stained glass and leopard print don't usually go together, but here they do. I'm really happy with how this turned out, and I love the combination of gold, turquoise and nudes.

What do you think of My Sign's Aqua-rium? How about my leopard print and stained glass design?

You can find SoFlaJo on their shop, also you can keep up with them via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
