Wing Dust Collections, Swatches and Review: I Ain't No Angel, I Can See Your Holo, and Waking Dream

Hi everyone! Now that all my end of the year/beginning of the year blog posts are out of the way, I can get back to regular blog posts. And for you that means swatches! Even better - all three of these polishes are included in my giveaway! Stephanie, the maker of Wing Dust Collections, was kind enough not only to donate some polishes for the giveaway, but she also sent an extra set so that I could blog about them!

All three of these polishes are stunning as I've come to expect from Wing Dust Collections. Beautiful shimmers, poetic names, and ethereal colours and glitters.

I Ain't No Angel is a vibrant cobalt blue jelly with a blue and pink shimmer, and a combination of blue, gold and silver glitter. The glitter ranges from tiny to larger hexes and circles with some small squares added to the mix. The formula was good, but I find jellies can be tricky, and this one needed a few drops of thinner. Also, I wasn't able to get the larger glitter out. Regardless, it's still very pretty. This was 3 coats.

I Can See Your Holo is a 12kt white gold flake top coat, which also has a subtle linear holo shimmer. I love how simple, yet perfect this is. I don't own any gold flake polishes, but of the ones I've seen this is by far my favourite because of the addition of the holo shimmer. And the larger pieces set it apart from the recent OPI release, which had very tiny flakes (from the photos I've seen)...and is more than triple the cost of the Wing Dust version! I had good coverage with one coat, but it takes a bit of care when applying, because you want to make sure to get some good sized flakes. This was 1 coat over Cult Nails Fetish.

Waking Dream is a dark purple jelly with pink, red and silver glitter, including hexes, circles, stars, and tiny hair glitter. It also has a very subtle shimmer, but it's not very noticeable on the nails. I do love how dark and dreamy this one is - a classic Wing Dust! Application was good, but I recommend two coats of top coat (or Gelous) to smooth out the glitter. This was 3 coats.

Of the three, I Can See Your Holo is my favourite, although they are all great polishes! If you can't wait for my giveaway, Stephanie also has some polishes available in her Etsy shop including I Ain't No Angel. Make sure to follow Wing Dust Collections on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for shop updates and new releases.

What do you think of these? Do any stand out for you?

    1. Hi Gigi, sorry I missed your question. One of them (I Ain't No Angel) is available now on the Wing Dust Etsy shop. The others, I don't know when they will be available. I know Stephanie is working on a restock, so they may be available soon. I suggest following in Facebook to find out about future restocks.
