Be-Wear the White Polish and Anniversary Seaquins |
These are two polishes I was happy to add to my collection relatively recently. They aren't part of any collection, so if you missed them, they are worthy of a second look!
Anniversary Seaquins was released for Jindie Nails' first anniversary in business. And of course because it's blue, I fell in love with it instantly. It's a gorgeous shade of blue, slightly muted in colour, with a subtle blue-violet shimmer. It has a mixture of yellow, green, purple, and silver glitter. Just reading the description you think these colours wouldn't go together, but they work surprisingly well together - in true Jindie fashion.

The application was good, but I found you had to be careful not to get too much glitter on the nail. I wasn't able to avoid this on my middle finger, but then at the same time, there's enough glitter that you don't have to fish at all. This was three coats plus a coat of Gelous and top coat.

Be-Wear the White Polish is limited edition - it's sold out right now and I don't know if it will ever be restocked. It was released after Be-Wear the Polish - a glitter topper from the Halloween collection (see my review here). Although it's a white crelly polish, it appears very pale lavender due to the purple shimmer. The glitter mix is the same as the non-crelly version and there's a mix of green, purple, black and white glitter in stars, moons, rectangles, hexes, and circles.

The application was really good - just the right amount of glitter, so it went on very smooth. I did find it a bit sheer though, which wasn't an issue for my shorties, but longer nails might want to wear a white base. This was three coats.

Overall, I'm really happy with both purchases. Anniversary Seaquins is a bit tricky in application, but it makes up for it with such gorgeous colours. Be-Wear the White Polish LE is a classic Jindie white crelly, which I never tire of.
