Hi everyone! The P.S. I Love You collection is certainly not a new one - it was released for Valentine's Day earlier this year - but it's such a lovely collection that it deserves some more attention. I got this with my Harlow & Co. order earlier this month, and it was one of those moments where you open a package and realize that you must swatch them right away!

With only three polishes, it's certainly a small collection. However, the beautiful colours, gorgeous finishes, and excellent formula, shows that you don't need a large number of polishes to make a strong collection. My experience with each one was great. I know that I'll be wearing them again, and I won't be waiting until next Valentine's Day to do so. ;)
A Mother's Love is a clear-based glitter topper that is predominantly rose and gold. It has a gold shimmer, gold and rose micro-glitter, small/medium rose squares and hexes, medium silver and gold holographic squares, and pink holographic hearts. This was one coat over Lime Crime Milky Ways and the application couldn't be more perfect. I had no issues getting enough glitter out. Also I love the shimmer on this one, it just radiates when the light hits it.

Hot Shot is a light hot pink with a subtle linear holo. The colour on this is an interesting one - in normal indoor light it's not an exceptionally bright colour, in fact it looks slightly muted (which I found rather flattering). But underneath direct light it is noticeably brighter, a vivid bubblegum pink with flashes of orange where you see the holographic effect. This was three coats and the application on this one was flawless. It went on perfectly smooth and no issues with streaking or bald patches.

Twitterpated is undoubtedly the star of the collection. I'll be honest, I thought twitterpated had something to do with Twitter, but nope, it's from Bambie, haha! The polish Twitterpated is a lavender/light purple linear holo with a rose/gold duochrome shimmer. The holographic effect on this one is so stunning, especially combined with the shimmer! I also needed three coats for this one. Aside from the fact that the polish pulled away from my tips slightly, I had no issues with the application.

I should also mention that this collection is dedicated to the mother of a close friend of Pam's (the creator). I find this to be such a thoughtful and beautiful tribute to someone. :-)
Can I just say it again - I'm in love with these polishes. I own quite a few Girly Bits polishes and these are probably my favourite so far! If you don't own them, and you love pinks and purples, these are must haves. I've been eying this collection since it was released and I'm so glad I finally purchased them.
Girly Bits is available from their
website. There you will find a list of distributors, including
Harlow & Co. where I bought these from.
What do you think about these? Which polish stands out the most?
The three are beautiful, but twitterpatted most!

ReplyDeleteThanks Heather! I agree with you on Twitterpated, as for Mother's Love, I saw mostly swatches of it over Hot Shot from this collection, so I wanted to do something different fortunately it worked out.
DeleteThese are all beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on that one! I don't know if you own any Girly Bits, but it's a great brand, Pam does such good work. :)
DeleteHi Meghan, I love Girly Bits and I think I bought from each and every of her collections since last spring. I got only Hot Shot from this Collection and still hope to find Twitterpadded stocked when my account is stocked too ;-)!!! As always: immaculate swatches <3
