A while back, over a month now, I purchased some Cadillacquer polishes from Harlow & Co. You can see the first part of my Cadillacquer haul here. And now, finally, I have the rest of them to show you. Unfortunately these are all sold out, but maybe if we beg, plead, cry, and whine enough, Katie will bring more Cadillacquer to her store. I love these polishes but the shipping from the Cadillacquer Etsy store is too expensive for me.
Cadillacquer Dollhouse, Serendipity, and Cute Poison |
All three polishes had a great formula. They went on very smooth and the consistency was perfect - not too thin or thick. I really like how these polishes are so easy and effortless to apply, because that is not always the case with indie polishes.
Cute Poison is a muted teal blue/green creme with small black squares and tiny teal and fuchsia glitter. The polish looks very complex but up close you see that it is actually quite simple. I really like the unusual mixtures of colours and the addition of black to this one. I used three coats, although two may work.

Dollhouse is what I call conservative with a twist - the kind of indie that you could wear in a more conservative work environment. It's a pale mauve creme with pink micro-glitter, tiny silver squares, small silver hexes, and small pink squares and circles. I really like polishes like this, they are perfect for when I want something more muted and toned down, but not boring. This was three coats.

Serendipity is a dusty pale blue with a pink shimmer and tiny/small magenta hexes. It's probably the most simple of the three and yet it's my favourite. I love the blue colour and the speckled look it has. This was three coats, and like the others the formula was great.

I love that these three are very cohesive in appearance, yet all unique. I'm also impressed by the excellent formula that is consistent with all three polishes. So far I only have good things to say about Cadillacquer and I'm looking forward to what this brand comes out with in the future.
As mentioned, I bought these at Harlow & Co., where they are currently sold out. Cadillacquer is also available through Etsy. Follow both Cadillacquer and Harlow & Co. on Facebook for updates.
What do you think of these? Which one, if any, is your favourite??
I love everything I see of Cadillacquer, but their cost and shipping to the US is so expensive! *Le sigh*
ReplyDeleteNo need to feel that way!!! Harlow & Co. just restocked a bunch of Cadillacquer polishes and they offer free world-wide shipping if you spend over $50 (which is so easy, haha), and Llarowe will be carrying the brand soon. :)
DeleteAll three are gorgeous, but Serendipity really jumps out at me. The magenta really pops in the crelly blue base! Your swatches are gorgeous as always! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Joy! Always means a lot coming from you!! :D <3
DeleteDollhouse reminds me of Different Dimensions Doppelganger. Very pretty
ReplyDeleteOooohh! I have that DD polish, I should definitely try it some time soon. :)
DeleteOh wow I love Dollhouse, I find it looks very different. And toned down, yet fun at the same time. Serendipity is also very nice.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed them, I really do love wearing them! :)
