Jindie Nails Spring Chic Collection: Swatches and Review!

Hi everyone! I'm very happy to be showing you the new Spring Chic collection from Jindie Nails. I got these in the mail earlier this week and had to swatch them right away, they are just too fun looking and I had to share! The collection consists of six brightly coloured creme/jelly polishes with glitters in a variety of colours and shapes. I have five of them - Fantastical is the only one I don't have, but there have been other swatches online if you are interested.

For each polish I'm going to use the official description from Jindie Nails (in italics), but I will also add my own impressions and experiences. Each polish is meant to be worn on its own, and they all are opaque in 2-3 coats. For all swatches I used one coat of Gelous and one coat of Seche Vite to get a very smooth finish. I also found it necessary to shake them in order to get enough glitter out.

Fun Intended: (from Jindie Nails) "Pastel neon pink crelly with a mix of neon pink, neon orange, metallic silver, metallic orange, metallic magenta & tiny white stars, hex, short bars & dots plus neon pink butterflies."

Jindie Nails Fun Intended

This is a very fun and bright polish. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to get any of the butterflies out, nor did I really see any in the bottle. However, I didn't have any problem getting enough glitter on the nail. I needed three coats for full coverage, and the formula was great - it went on very easy and smooth.

HipStar: "Periwinkle crelly with a mix of neon pink, neon purple, metallic silver hex, stars & dots."

Jindie Nails HipStar

This one is right up my alley and by far my favourite of the bunch. The colours are very gorgeous and flattering on me. It also has a very beautiful, subtle purple shimmer. The consistency of this one was perfect and it went on very smooth. This was three coats.

Jindie Nails HipStar

Mango with the Flow: "Pastel bright peach crelly with metallic silver hex, blue & purple iridescent hex, lime green/gold iridescent hex."

Jindie Nails Mango with the Flow

This is definitely a unique combination - the iridescent hexes are transparent, and the silver hexes are more prominent. This was the only one I had difficulty with. I found the formula thick and chunky, and it didn't want to spread out. If you get this one, I would recommend some thinner, and maybe layering one or two coats over a matching polish. I used three coats here.

Nude Beach: "Nude crelly base with a mix of metallic sand colored sparkling hex, iridescent hex, matte white hex & tiny stars plus and abundance of neon orange, neon blue, neon pink, neon purple, neon green & neon yellow hex in several  sizes."

Jindie Nails Nude Beach

This was another favourite. It reminds me of Candy Land and similar polishes, but the nude base and addition of the gold hex glitter makes this one unique. I used three coats and the formula on this one was perfect.

Jindie Nails Nude Beach

Princess Consuela Banana-hammock: "Named after the Friends episode where Phoebe changed her name to this hysterical name. PCBH is a bright yellow crelly with a mix of matte satin red, orange, neon pink, neon orange, neon dark orange hex plus matte red tiny red stars."

Jindie Nails Princess Consuela Banana-hammock

This is another fun bright colour, perfect for both spring and summer. I needed three coats for full coverage. The formula was great, went on very smooth like the others, however, I did have to shake this quite a bit to get the glitter out.

Overall, this is a great collection. It's fun to see Jindie Nails take what was so popular with previous polishes (i.e. Candy Land) and change it up for some fun and bright spring polishes. Many of them are very colourful and would be great for summer as well. My favourites are definitely HipStar and Nude Beach.

This collection is available on the Jindie Nails website and from Llarowe. Jindie Nails is also available from Harlow & Co., Ninja Polish,  Femme Fatale Cosmetics, and Mei Mei's Signatures. Follow Jindie Nails on Facebook and Instagram (@jindienails) for updates and new releases.

What do you think of these? Do you have any favourites?

    1. Haha! A lot!! >:D
But seriously, I think it should probably be restocked soon, I know that Jen is working on doing restocks more frequently, so you should be able to get your hands on it with not too much trouble.

  2. I really love the Jindie line and I appreciate just about every polish she has to offer, however I do really like Fun Intended and Hipstar. They're both really beautiful and something I'm more inclined to wear.

    1. Yes, you can notice the difference, but I guess the formula has been improved since I swatched this (see Jen's comment below).

  7. Meghan, sorry you had trouble with the formula of Mango with the Flow. I actually did not realize how chunky it was until I did my swatch of it for the website. I have since reformulated it to be less chunky, more even and easier to work with. I'm gonna send you a bottle of the newer formula. Thanks for your honest opinion! Love this post :)!

    1. Thanks Jen, I'm so glad you enjoyed my swatches and review! I'm also happy to hear that you've changed the formula on Mango with the Flow, all the others were perfect but this one definitely stood out. If you are able to send a newer bottle, I'll gladly reswatch and update my review. :)

  8. Gorgeous swatches, as always! And of course the Jindie's are amazing! Princess Consuela Banana-hammock was the one of the collection that I was kinda meh about as I don't really like yellow polishes. But it looks stunning in your swatches. I may have to buy it once it is restocked! Great job!
