Pahlish Twelve Days of Christmas: Days Four, Five, and Six

Hi everyone! So it's officially the end of the weekend. *sad face* A little over a month ago (whoa has it been that long!!??), I showed you the first three polishes in the Pahlish holiday collection. You can see that here. As I explained in that post, the collection was limited edition and is now sold out - except for two polishes - but I decided I wanted to show them regardless. There's not too many swatches of them online, and there's always the possibility of getting some of these through blog sales or swaps.

Pahlish Four Colly Birds, Six Geese-a-Laying, Five Gold Rings

I really love all three polishes in this grouping. Something about the darker colours paired with beautiful shimmers and glitters. And each one has a unique finish.

Four Colly Birds is a squishy muted plum jelly. It's got gold shimmer, along with copper and holo glitter. It's pretty sheer - I used four coats here, so you might want to layer it. But otherwise the application was great.

Five Gold Rings is by far my favourite of the three. The finish is just mesmerizing! It has a very decadent look, like brocade. It's a blackened green-gold jelly with gold glitter and flakes. I used two coats here and had no issues with the application.

Six Geese-a-Laying is an emerald green jelly with green shimmer and a sparse smattering of fuchsia glitter. The colour on this is very rich and gorgeous. I used three coats and had no issues, but I would wait a bit in between coats so that you don't pull off previous layers.

What do you think of these? Did you manage to get any while they were available?

  5. The collection came and went before I had a chance to snatch them all up. Most especially, I was dying to get Four Colly Birds. Anyone want to make my dreams come true?
